LiMax Cylindrical Linear Actuators
LiMax stands for LInear actuator with MAXimum stroke force because it delivers high stroke forces in a very slim package.
- LiMax 80, with a diameter of only 80mm (3.2”), can produce 5200N (1169 lbs-f)
- LiMax 60, with a diameter of only 60mm (2.4”), can produce 3500N (786 lbs-f)
The exterior is made of stainless steel and is rated IP65 (high-pressure washdown) for demanding environments such as food processing and chemical plants. The appealing design also makes it well-suited for operating glass facades in energy-efficient buildings. A wide variety of options are available.

ESA: electronic switching action
 ESA is an important new option which is now available with our Compacta gearmotors.
The electronic switching action allows the user to set not only two final positions but also 10 intermediate stop positions, each freely programmable and in both forward and reverse direction. The programming itself is conceptually simple and is done with the help of two integrated buttons and three LED’s in a matter of minutes.
