Miniline actuators are the most compact electric cylinder actuators on the market. The Miniline is symmetrical in design. Everything is built in a totally enclosed steel cylindrical tube including the motor and the built-in internal limit switches. Only the power cord is exposed.

Two key design features of the Miniline family are hollow rotor shaft and the internal limit switches. The hollow rotor shaft allows the lead screw to “drive” through it. Many other actuator designs attach their motors to the lead screw drive in-line, parallel or at 90 degrees. The end result of this design is the packaging is much more efficient.

The internal limit switches are a key safety feature with single phase units. They can be switched directly from the power source without the use of external relays. Other manufacturer’s actuators use electro-magnetic switches attached to the thrust unit of the actuator. Often the switches and wires are exposed.
