ESA Switch Control Option
 The new all-electronic ESA switch control option will fit in every size of the well known Compacta slip-on geared motors.
The electronic switching action allows the user to set not only two final positions but also 10 intermediate stop positions, each freely programmable and in both forward and reverse direction. The programming itself is conceptually simple and is done with the help of two integrated buttons and three LED’s in a matter of minutes.
In comparison with the mechanical versions, which are still available, the new ESA provides a higher switching and repetitive accuracy.
The ESA is compatible with most common PLC-hardware and is further equipped with an integrated power supply unit and – optionally – with a rotary pulse encoder.
The Compacta range of gearmotors are successful products widely used in many sectors, due to their space saving design, low weight, quiet operation and integral controls. Equipped with the new ESA, the Compacta product line will satisfy many additional applications where positioning accuracy is critically important and especially where multiple stop positions are required.
